With the Bing! hosted soiree being held at Warner Brothers Studios, the "Vampire Diaries" co-star couple took separate turns posing for pictures on the arrivals carpet before joining a long guest list of the network's stars on-hand to celebrate the 2011 fall season.
During a recent interview, Ian chatted about his Damon character's kiss with Elena (Dobrev) in the second season finale of the show, as he told, "I keep hearing about this 'passionate kiss'. I don't know if anyone saw, but [Damon] was also pale white, sweating profusely and bleeding. There wasn't anything very passionate about it, so I don't know how much I would read into that, although I do know that he remembers it."
Somerhalder added, "He makes a mention of it, jabbing at Elena, but illustrating that he definitely remembers it. It didn't go unnoticed."
