"Immortals" Premiere: A Star-Studded Red Carpet

Gearing up for their film’s theatrical debut, the stars of “Immortals” were in attendance at the Los Angeles premiere held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Monday night (November 7).

Henry Cavill, Freida Pinto, Isabel Lucas, Kellan Lutz, Michelle Rourke, Luke Evans, Joseph Morgan and Daniel Sharman were all on-hand to pose for pictures on the red carpet and talk to press ahead of the movie’s first screening.

Also in attendance for the "Immortals" screening were ladies such as Audrina Patridge, Kristin Cavallari, Maria Menounos and Estella Warren, as well as 50 Cent and Kellan's "Twilight" co-star Boo Boo Stewart and his sister Fivel.

With the film hitting theaters this Friday (November 11), the story revolves around Theseua (played by Cavill), a mortal who teams up with the Greek gods in order to take down the power-hungry King Hyperion (played by Rourke).

The action/drama/fantasy was directed by Tarsem Singh, who is also at the helm of Lily Collins and Julia Roberts' Snow White film "Mirror Mirror".

Henry Cavill: Shirtless on "Man of Steel" Set!

Stripping it off for his time on set, a shirtless Henry Cavill filmed scenes for "Man of Steel" in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada yesterday (October 25).

Showing off his mouth-watering midsection, the 28-year-old actor got to work on an array of shots in front of a massive green screen.

And while Henry is known for keeping his bod at the peak of perfection for his professional career, he say's it isn't always easy achieving a super-chiseled look.

During a recent interview with Men's Health, Cavill explained, “It’s very stressful, waking up Monday morning and saying, ‘Can I still see that vein in my abs?’”

Judging by Superman‘s ripped pants it looks as if our hero just survived something pretty intense. Sex with Lois Lane perhaps. That would probably happen in another type of Superman movie.

Man of Steel is directed by Zack Snyder (Watchmen, 300) and produced by Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight). It is set to hit theaters on June 14th, 2013.

Hunky Henry Cavill Rocks Skintight Superman Suit

Superman's got a whole new look.

Henry Cavill was spotted shooting scenes for Man of Steel in Plano, Illinois, Tuesday, where onlookers caught a glimpse of the actor's chiseled chest, rock hard abs and bulging biceps.

Though 28-year-old Cavill's body makeover isn't too surprising, the alterations made to his skintight costume might raise some eyebrows. The character's signature red briefs and yellow utility belt have been eliminated, though Superman's red cape and giant "S" have been kept intact.


To prep for his role in the film (which also stars Amy Adams, Russell Crowe and Diane Lane), Cavill was put on an intense diet and fitness regimen.

"I'm on 5,000 calories a day," he recently told Total Film Magazine. "You've got to eat protein first, then a little bit of carbs. You've got to keep your hunger levels going."


"I'm training two and a half hours a day, pushing my body beyond its normal limits, putting on a lot of muscle mass and just making myself look like Superman."

Man of Steel arrives in theaters June 14, 2013.
